Blue or splash Marans?

this is an 11 day old Marans that hatched out of a blue on blue. Is it a blue or splash?

The feathers coming in look too dark for splash.

Ok thanks, I'm not familiar with Marans at hatch. Seemed too white to me for it to be blue

Gray down indicates at least one blue gene present. As the feathers come in blues are dark grey/blue. Splash are white/light grey.

I agree the feathers show it's going to be a shade of blue.
