Blue orp eggs on Eggbid

I have one blue pullet hatched from Jim Cox's eggs. Someone bought them from him personally, packaged them for me properly and sent them to me, a full dozen. Two hatched, one splash cockerel and my Skye. She is beautiful. I happen to know that many of my eggs in that batch were quite porous, some very porous, not just a little, which is why I believe they didnt hatch. I had several other breeds in the batch and they did well. His birds are very nice and some of his stock originally came from Sandhill Preservation. Can't say about his packing but I know countrygirlcleelum can-someone else packed mine for me. In this pic, Skye is the girl in the front.

I recently hatched Blue Orps and Cuckoo Marans that came from Jim. Many of my eggs were also porous, but most developed and hatched just fine. I can't say anything about the quality of the birds yet since they are only a couple of weeks old, but Jim was awesome to deal with and the packaging was excellent.

I don't to derail your thread but how dark were the cuckoo marans eggs you bought from him? thank you.
