Blue Orpington chicks compared to Lavender Orpingtons

How do you tell the differance between Blue Orp chicks and Lav Orp chicks? I've seen pictures and they look pretty much the same.

blue orps are much darker an have lacing on the chest

this is one of our blue hens she is pretty light some are much darker

this is one of our lav roos hens have the same coloring hope this helps

Most of the blues will have darker heads. Lavenders are even color all over, (except for the whitish juvenile shading.)
