My very broody silkies recently hatched 21 chicks. The rooster is a blue silkie and there are 2 blue hens and 2 black hens. Most of the chicks are blue, a few blacks and at least one (hopefully) splash. But these four chicks are different. I just recently saw a post about blue partridge silkies and am wondering if that is what these are. The wings and underbelly are grey/blue with the brown markings down the backs and head. If not blue partridges, what are they??? I'm not planning on keeping them but would like to know what they are.

Your silkies are carrying genes for partridge, and occasionaly you will gat a few birds that look mostly blue, but will have a little partridge color on them. They won't have as much brown as a real partridge
