The blues do tend to bleach out and sometimes get brassy in the sun, dont they? Poor Suede. After his molt, he was gorgeous and now, he's all faded and brassy in the hackles.

The blues that I bred out of Mihalik lines are very dark. I have trouble telling them from the blacks unless they are in the light. They also are darker on top and fade to a lighter blue on the bottom. I thought that was andalusian?
I really like the lavender silkies that someone posted pics of. Now I want lavender!
