Blue Silkies

I am new to Silkies but I have fallen in love

My question is ....
How do I tell if I have Blue or Gray silkies? I can not mistake my white and black, but the gray/blue thing confuses me.

If I am not mistaken, Grey is more like a roan color, or grizzled. Think the color pattern of a chinchilla. Blue is a solid color

How old are they? I believe Greys should look silvery grey and usually have black heads; blues will look more steely colored, some will be so dark they look black. Post some pics if you can. Welcome to Silkie love!

I will post pictures when I get home. The ones I have are adult (1yr.) and are all one consistent color. They have dark maroon combs/waddles. They are very pretty. The pictures I looked at for gray were all much lighter than I have. I have my color varieties divided so they do not cross breed. The girls are laying like crazy. I was going to sell eggs/chicks but I do not want to mislead anyone.
