I had some that came from a guy in NC I think....they were so much tamer than my black sumatras. and they laid brown eggs unlike the blacks....I took a temp job out of state and left them w/someone to babysit, and none survived the stay there.

I'd like to find some more BLUE sumatras. I'd rather buy chicks or started birds or adults than eggs at this point- I'm in northern Maine and anything hatched later than this is going to be very hard for me to keep alive over the winter.
I don't have electricity either- except for running a generator- so heat lamps are not really an option out here in the winter.
