Blue Swedish duck

Good afternoon everyone, I'm new to this site but I really need some help... My dog is very playful and I left my duck playing in her pool unattended by accident... My blue Swedish has no wounds other than some ruffled feathers. She is scared to be in her pool now and her playfulness has disappeared since then... How can I help her??? Please and thank you!!

How long ago did this happen?

Is the dog anywhere nearby or in sight when she is in the pool?

I would move the pool. It may take time, or she may not ever be as carefree. You already know the best thing is to protect her from now on. I understand we can get distracted. But now she may not feel safe.

It's not as much as she is scared to be in their but she's more cautious... She just floats in their and keeps her head low as to not be seen... The dog is near but theirs no where else to put her... I'm starting to put the dog inside a bit more since the duck isn't allowed inside the house. Is their anything else I can do?
