Blue Swedish Gender...*pics on bottom of page*

I've heard in a few places that you can tell the gender of a blue swedish duck by the color of the bill. Is this true? If so what colors means female and what color means male?

I'd be interested also as I hatched out two about a month ago and neither wants to try quaking noises. I swear they are the quietest ducklings I've ever seen.

I don't know about the bill.. but My girls do quack for me and they are around 5-6 weeks now.

I don't know if this is true for all blue swedish ducks but I have 4 girls and a boy and all the girls have dark grayish/black/blue bills and the boy has a yellowish/gray/green bill.

I just found this in Holderreads book under blue colored ducks including Swedish:
"Bills are green blue in drakes and nearly black in ducks."

#3 and 4 I would say females. #2 I think male. Not sure with #1. I'm leaning toward female though.

3 + 4 are females 2 is a male and 1 is both
