Hi All - I'm not super experienced with showing but I like to take a few birds to the APA show at the fair every year for fun. I'm starting to think about who I want to take this year and I have a lblue Wyandotte roo that I really like - he's large (about 9 lbs) and I think he's quite lovely but I don't know how he stands up against the breed standard. He's my only Wyandotte and I hatched him from a mixed bunch that I got from a BYC egg swap. The picture below may not be the best one to judge from but can you give me a general idea of his quality and whether or not it's worth taking him?

He's not the worst I ever saw & for a Blue he's not bad at all. Can't tell about his leg colour from the picture but they should be yellow. If they are go ahead & show him. If you want to breed him & can't find a Blue female try for a Black.
