Okay, there's a blue jay in my chicken coop. What do you think are my chances of getting it to lay eggs in the nest boxes... I could sell teeny, tiny cartons of blue jay eggs.... or it might kill me if I open the door... what to do, what to do?

You should probally get that out of there they love to eat eggs. They are notorious for stealing wild bird eggs to eat. so hurry get it out.

Not to mention the fact that your state might have some law dealing with what you do to a songbird, which is what a jay would be considered.
