As described in this thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=211838, my Buff is injured and her toes on her right leg are curled. She will not keep her toes straightened out. We put a splint on her for a few days. She did not tolerate the splint. We switched to a wrap to keep the leg straight and put her in a box by herself. She has been on the porch for about a week. She will stand up and hop around on one leg, using the other leg to balance herself on. She is eating fine and taking some sugar in her water. What else can I do to help this leg to heal? I am adding a photo of the bird, I am not sure if you can make out her foot, if not let me know and I will get a closer shot.

Thought I would update and change the title to attract more attention.

**UPDATE**

This evening we have taken "Buffy" outside and allowed her to wander, she has been staying near the porch but she took off and went out to the coop tonight. So I am wondering if maybe she needs to be around the other survivors. She is still gimpy on the one leg but is standing more and more each day, the foot is still curled up however and I am concerned about her ability to walk over the long term. Any Ideas or opinions?
