3 out of 4 have this problem. They're still in a brooder, not kept on wire. Not showing any signs of mites, but they did come from the feed store. Are they pecking at each other? Leg mites?

The picture is a little blurry for me...is the toenail missing on this swollen toe?

I doubt it's mites at this age... probably injury.

Yes, but that's the only one missing a toenail. The other's still have nails on the injured toes

Did they come from the feed store like that?
Could they have been too over crowded there and possibly been pecking each other's feet.

Quail will peck at toes, looks like a worm to them... are you using a red bulb heat lamp or other heat source? Not likely it's mites, unless the feed store's holding facilities had them and they didn't notice the infestation. Even if that is the case, they are really too young to have an infestation.

You could put some betadine on their toes and/or some vaseline.
The damaged toes may look unsightly but unless all their toes get damaged, they will be ok.
Judging by the pic, I'd say their just getting peck.
