I raise hundreds of bobs at a time, but the transport cages (when I sell them) I built out of welded wire seem to injure a couple or so.. should I change my cages? Are they too tall(8 inches)?

what kind of injuries are you seeing. Leg, head, bloody spots?

I've been seeing head injuries (skin peeled back) along with blood around the beaks

personally I would try a soft cage top 1-2" lower than the mesh. Maybe a stretched material like burlap. This will give them less distance to gain upwards speed and should give them a cushion when they do jump. Of course the injuries could be from something else like them attacking each other.
