Bojangles, the roo, calling his girls to the nesting box...

Do any of your roos do this? Bo is a large fowl cochin and he gets into the nesting box and does a special song for his ladies. It is totally different from any other sounds I hear any of them making. The hens all flock around and whoever is closest gets in with him while he gives it the review for the day!!! It is the cutest thing out!!

My roos do it all the time - I think the trilling and cooing sounds they make are the cutest EVER!!

I remember when I first saw a rooster do it, I just fell in love!!

The funny part is that my last rooster would make the nests SO big the girls had no interest in them. . . Luckily now my EE makes them "just right"
