Bold Drake!

Hey guys, my Pekin Drake LJ has taking to bullying and biting my hens So much so that I've had to separate them, which us a real pain! They all used to get on fine but spot is a particularly feisty hen and would peck all round when getting fed. Is there anything I can do to improve the situation?

Is he bullying chicken hens or duck hens? If chickens, he may be trying to breed them which is not a good idea.

Your so right, I was watching him this morning and he was trying to mate. They're hens (chicken) think he's been trying it on with the rabbit too lol! Keeping them separate and they're all alot happier, although it is a real pain!

I've heard of chicken hens being killed by drakes trying to mate. Definitely good you caught this behavior and have them separated!
