Bonding with chicks and ducks

Hi guys! I have read about how to bond with your chicks, and mine are a couple of days old. Do you guys have any tips?

Welcome to BYC! Spend as much time with them as you can We used two XL dog crates as brooders and spent as much time as we could sitting in front of the open door with an arm resting on the floor of the brooder. The chicks could come up and investigate without feeling threatened. We also would sit with some of their food in our hand so hands became less scary too.
Try not to make sudden movements, super loud noises or approach from overhead for the first few days until they get to know you.

That's actually exactly what I do! Its mainly the ducks that are the problem though. We got them when they were a few weeks old, and now they are really scared for some reason...

I don't have any experience with ducks...maybe they take longer to bond?

Maybe? They are growing up fast, so I guess time is limited.
