Bonding with chicks

[My 3 Chicky Babies]

I’m a new mom as of a week ago Wednesday to three 4-5 week old chicks. One, my blue lace gold Wyandotte is still very skittish around me. The other two are coming around and have been jumping up on me when they think/know I have treats.
What can I do safety, that won’t do lasting harm, or fear towards me so that my skittish one will come around. What has worked for you all? Suggestions for this new and concerned mom would be greatly appreciated.

Get them out in a safe space (the bathroom makes clean-up easier) and sit on the floor with them. Let them play and offer them treats (ours love millet seeds). Some birds are naturally more friendly and others not so much - they all have quite individual personalities. Pullets can be quite nervous when young and you'll wonder why you bothered with so much handling when they were little but once they start to lay they will calm right down and remember that you are their friend.
