Thank you! Apart from my current hatching catastrophe that is currently underway. I have a small flock of mixed birds. I am an animal lover and a little bit soft- which seems to mean that for some reason I am propositioned with all sorts of animals needing homes. Birds are no exception Therefore I currently have a flock of 4 mallards and a mixed flock of 6 hens. I was given all of them apart from 2. It is a mix of marans but mainly bantam pekins which despite having tiny eggs I absolutely adore. The birds I bought were perle pekins. I have kept poultry for about 4 years so by no means an expert and learning new things everyday! I recently bought some shipped copper polish eggs to add to the flock with a view to specialising in one or two decorative varieties. However this has not gone so well! (See hatching thread for more info) I would also love some geese Possibly.
