Hi all,

Some of us that have posted on my other thread: 'Summer reading ideas or maybe a BYC book club.' https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/summer-reading-ideas-or-maybe-a-byc-book-club.1473044/ have decided to choose one book to read at the same time. We're starting with Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau. It is described here in my library app:

If you have already read it PLEASE DON'T tell us what happens, but a general report on how much you liked or hated it would be appreciated.

I say we set a date to finish the first few chapters, like 3 by July 10th or so, and then those that read ahead will just have to be careful not to spoil anything.

Or, we can set a date to discuss the whole book. I'm.open to suggestions. Hope many readers can join us!

Tough decision...have no idea how to manage an online book club.
IRL book club everyone reads the book of the month then meets to discuss, if you didn't finish too bad.
 
I'm really enjoying the book. Lots of layers added as it goes along. Thought I'd give this thread a little bump in the hopes of adding more readers!
 
Going for a restock at the library today, hopefully they can order the book for me as the system still seems to be only half operative.
 
It was very good. I suppose we can just read/comment past this post once we finish the book :) especially if some have trouble getting a copy.
