Book on Pheasants

Good luck on the book, I looked last year and didn't find anything really worth while. I picked peoples brains here and learned alot, threw in some trial an error and I have a bunch of eggs due to hatch in about 2 weeks. I think the number #1 rule to pheasants is never forget...... "them birds is crazy"

but once you learn their quirks and how to raise them it's not that hard. I can tell you alot of "what not to do" experience if that helps

Although I have many, I'll name two here. Good books to have on hand & will answer nearly all questions. If you can find them : both out of print.
(heard rumors of re-prints though)

Might one day find some on E-Bay or some such place. Your local book store may be able to find them for you as well.

The only book we have (which appears to also be out of print) is Raising Game Birds by Leland B. Hayes and Melba L. Hayes

I did look on their website and the offer a differnt/new game bird book, don't know what it all covers though.

Thanks guys! I did find some books on amazon and ordered the book on "Pheasant Breeding and Care". Will try some of the other books as I get time.
