I already have ten plus muscovy eggs under my own dear broody hen, and my MIL has been complaining that two of her younger hens have stopped laying because they are determined to be broody. I *was* going to put some eggs I had in my incubator, but thought-- why not save on electricity?

) So I put nine more muscovy eggs under one of her hens. My four year old son did the actual transition and had her practically purring in rapture as he tucked each egg under her.
These eggs were going to go with my incubators for a trade, which fell through, so they were lying around for and extra ten days or so after shipping. We'll see if any of them make it!
