Boss? De?

I am new to chickens and don't know what these acrnyms mean. I would appreciate the help

Any others that I will need to know to better understand BYC?

BOSS = Black Oil Sun Flower Seed
DE = Diatomaceous Earth

I didn't know what BOSS was either and I kept looking for it at TSC, than one day I realized it ment Black Oil Sunflower Seed when I walked passed a bag of wild bird seed. I had a

moment.

(they are further down that thread, but not in the list).

And maybe that list can be put higher in the FAQ, so it's easier to find?
