BOSS fodder

looking into growing fodder does BOSS make good fodder or should you stick to barley. Barley is much more expensive around here. Also can you use any type of boss or is there a specific one if you want it to sprout?

BOSS really stands for Black Oil Sunflower Seeds. I would suspect any sprouting seed would be a good supplement.

peas lentils.... or Alfalfa... I personally would do Alfalfa. its a legume and good for peeples too.

Do a little reading up on Fermented feed.... Outstanding for many reasons. There have been at least two threads here on it.

The best one is the simplest.

I really dont know.... I havent sprouted anything. Its a hard grain I know that. And different than BOSS.

I just say sprout what you got....
