Boss Hen

I've noticed that my self- proclaimed BOSS-HEN will lay the first egg every morning. Then, she seems offended when Mr Roo stands beside the next two hens while they are laying their egg in the same nest.

She has tantrums until both hens have finished with their eggs.

If it becomes too much of a problem, remove Miss Bossy from the flock for a few days; maybe even a week. Put her in chickie jail. That'll knock her down a peg or two on the pecking order ladder. She'll be singing a new tune when returned to the flock.
