Kenny the Rooster has taken up directing my hens where to lay their eggs. I kid you not. I’ve witnessed it several times in the last few weeks. Funny thing is the hens do just as he says. They just adore him! It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
Has anyone else seen this behavior before?

Yes. Goofy roosters sitting in nestboxes clucking away to hens. Sometimes they listen, usually the young ones, and sometimes they ignore them, usually the more mature hens.
