Hell, I have two little girls in my mud room right now. So far, everything has gone well. They are eating regularly and playing a lot, I just have a few questions:
1. So much pee! Way more pee than poop. Is that normal? They do poop from time to time and it's kind of adobe in color and texture.

2. What should I be using for bedding? They pee on everything, constantly, so the towels and blanket and bed they have in the mud room are constantly being switched out and washed.

3. Their tails are banded. Do I need to do anything special to keep them clean? It freaks me out to have poopy butts near the site, but I'm reluctant to get them too damp since they are very young.

The little white w/ spots is a week old jacob ewe, the black one in a three day old jacob cross.

I wrote the answers between the questions hope that helps. Just be glad you don't have 3-4 lambs at one time THAT is a nightmare! 2 am... BAAAA we are hungry!

(Perfectly normal) We had to changer our box every 2 days. and that was with my special absorbition design I used... The can pee a river!

I used a box then a layer of plastic then another layer of cardboard. then a layer of straw. I think I even used a few puppy training pads in the mix also.

We don't ususally band ours till there about 3-4 weeks old. But they are perfectly fine. If they get globby poop just take a moist paper towel and take it off. Just make sure if you let them out they do not get fly strike.

Just be ready to buy a Lot of lamb replacer if thats what your feeding them! bottle babies will drink a lot of milk as they get older... We usually let ours outside as soon as possible while still bottle feeding them.
