I stopped into the local farm store yesterday looking for a commercial fan for my layers ( the heat down here is terrible ) and they had 3 week old meat birds under a light. Can you imagine. Well, I bought them all for $1.39 per chick and today they're out on the grass just enjoying their short life.
Thought that was a really good deal.
Never did get the fan! I also got them down 20 % on a real nice run.
