Welsh Harlequins.. sweet, friendly, good ducks.... so I ordered three, got the bonus chick, now i have four
Three of them, yes, im fairly sure they are WH.. but i think the fourth is a piranha!
She has always loved my brother, despite that he would just randomly pick her up and nothing else. no treats, spending time, etc. It was pretty cute. Safe to say, Tongs is his duck, not mine. I learned a week before they went outside that she could bite... keep this info in your back pocket.
They've been outside for over a week, doing great, etc etc. The chicks all know how to get back in the coop, but the ducks don't go up the ramp on their own. No big deal, I pick the up and set them on it and have them waddle up it. Today is the last time I do this with Tongs, because as I said, i believe she is a shark inside of a duck's body. Everytime, without fail, she manages to destroy my hands. All the other girls can't reach up and kick my fingers, but she can, and she shreds them. I look like I've been reaching around in some weird hellish JIGSAW trap
. I remember stroking her head and her biting me so hard she popped a blood blister on my hand!
So, I was showing my brother how to hold her. I pointed at her SNAP! This time i got my finger away fast enough, but my mother had that wide eyed holy cow! Look. It sounded like a turtle more than a duck
. She's evil to everyone, except my brother. I have had my mom hold her, same deal. Chris (brother) picks her up, boom. Silence. calm. falling asleep in his arms.
 Traitor! I call her a traitor. She seems unbothered. This is the thanks i get for feeding them, watering them, giving them water time, and giving them treats. Absolute traitor.
So, yes. I believe there has been a mix up in shipping. As you can see, I have outlined my secretly-a-shark-in-a-ducks-body-duck below. How can I get this resolved with my breeder /j?
