Ok so bought eggs online. Put them in the incubator on May 4th. Candles on the Friday and all were kind of iffy. Candled tonight and all are growing but looks like at different rates. Is that normal? New to incubating so not sure but all definitely have developed since friday. Any information is appreciated.

What kind of incubator are you using? Are you monitoring it to make sure there are not hot and cold spots? How is the humidity? These are all important things to know when trying to figure out what is happening. Do you have any photos of the candled eggs - that would help diagnose.

Didnt take pictures due to not wanting them out long. But the picture is the incubator plus the egg turner. Little giant brand. Different breeds of chickens too!

I haven't used this brand of incubator, but there are mixed reviews on it. I think you have to monitor the temperature and humidity very careful and move eggs around if there are hot and cold spots. Watch those vent plugs too as they chicks can suffocate from lack of oxygen (particularly if it's still air and doesn't have a fan). Hopefully someone who has used this incubator can give you a little more detail on how they've been able to get successful hatches from it! Shipped eggs can also have lots of problems from transport, so usually a 50% hatch is what is expected if all goes well (thought it can be better).

You can post a new thread titled something like "Little Giant Incubator Questions" if you want more details on when to remove those red vent plugs (some people don't even use them as after Day 10 lack of oxygen can become an issue if you aren't careful) and how to manage temperature. Many folks use those incubators, so there should be some good advice to be had from folks that have used them.
