Bow-legged 9wk old rooster??

My RIR rooster is 9wks old and is very much bow-legged. He was hatched from a neighbors fertile egg by my broody. Did I do something wrong to cause this. I have pine shavings on floor of brooder and his toes are straight. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Can you post a photo? It might be possible to guess from that what part of his legs are the source of the problem. Off the cuff, if his feet are straight and if he's on a good-quality chick feed, then that would rule out my two biggest suspects and the likeliest cause is a genetic flaw.
