Hey all, we have been agonizing over finding a new home for our 1 1/2 yr old boxer mix, Daisy, for weeks now. She sealed her fate today when she went after my 8 year old nephew.

She has never shown aggression towards children before. We have two teens our self and she's been around young children, but her behavior tonight is inexcusable.

She also is SUPER hyper all the time. She literally has limitless energy. She chases chickens(and has killed them) and horses and cats. She has to be crated when we are away because she will tear things up. She has a serious wander lust and can't be contained in anything that we have put her in outside of her crate. She climbs fences. She gets along with our dogs but not any others. She gets along with our cats, but then they have used claws on her before.

Now, I know all that is bad, but I figured I shouldn't sugar coat it. She is housebroken. She will walk on leash and knows basic commands and comes when called. She is cute as she can be. And, she is very lovable - when she isn't being bad. She's a good guard dog. She is spayed and UTD on all vaccs til September.

She needs a home with active people - no kids - who can seriously exercise her every day. She can be near chickens as long as there is a fence separating them. She HAS TO BE CRATED.

Anyone interested in her let me know. I am serious about the crating restriction and the "no kids". Serious inquiries only, I will drive a bit to meet someone. We live outside Reading, PA.

I wish you lived in FL. I would love to meet her. Good luck, if you can't find a home for her and need any help researching rescues let me know. I would love to help/

I appreciate that, Hopefully we will be able to find a nice home for her. She spent all evening cuddled with me on the couch. She's a super sweet girl, when she's not being bad. We just have too many kids coming around to risk her really hurting someone.

We can get over the chickens and she's banned from the barn, but.... she just needs a home where she can be the only dog and get all the exercise and attention one hyperactive puppy could ever want!
