She had 10 eggs when I took 5 yesterday to try and incubate. I've seen her getting frisky with Blue several times, so you never know I guess. She laid her egg this morning about 10 and I don't plan on taking them unless I have to. Since she decided to have them in a big plastic garden cart under the front tree, if it rains it will turn into a swimming pool. If that happens I have to decide whether to roll it up on the porch IF I'm home, or if there is a chance of rain. The other choice would be to take them from her and I don't want to empty her little nest, she just loves it in there! The babies can't get out on their own if they do hatch, so I have to give this some thought.

clean it out so its her nesting box, tip it on its side so she feels safe and put a lot of straw in there so she can build up the security, nice nest, etc., unless you don't think that's safe, do all the above in a fenced in area

The others pick on her a bit, not trying to kill her anything but she's smaller and they are like playground bullies and just like to see her run. smart girl! Well, to keep the rain out, can you tack up a piece of plywood to a building and slide her bucket beneath, with enough room for her to easily get in and out? Love to see her suceed

Since it's on wheels, if I absolutely have to move it I can. I'll put it on the porch where she likes to roost.
