Boy or girl?

I got some cuckoo marans from the TS about two weeks ago. they appear to be 4 weeks old now. They were a straight run, but both look and behave like hens. They have the darker barring, and combs are still small and yellow. BUT, the one chick, while getting rounded (I think) neck feathers, seems to have a bit of shine on the edges. It passed every other test I can do on them at this age (Make them walk around to see if they walk like hens or roos, I can tell to a certain extent, see how big the comb is compared to pictures of peers of equal age from past flocks or the internet, and see if they stand up straight and have no butt, or if their butt is big and they hunch. Really, as weird as they sound, we have yet to incorrectly sex a bird.) Anyway, I just do not know what this thing is. Sorry I cannot figure out how to post pictures. Hope my description is enough

Both pullets and cockerels will have a 'shine' to their feathers if they are healthy.

Phew... Since she passed all other tests, I will hope for the best then. I never actually looked at chicks feathers that close before because we either decided and assumed they were that, or we got pullets.
