Ummm... Do all ducks including girls have a green tint to their black feathers?

pretty much....the green tint is a structural color of the feather. A mallard drake's haed is really black, it's the feather structure that reflects green wave lengths of light, and why it can change to blue at certain angles.

Ohhhh okay I thought my girl was a boy for a minute, she's only five weeks old so there's no way to tell yet but I didn't know that until I looked it up
