Hi, wanting some opinions on the gender of my EE chicks. I will try to make the thread short while giving as much detail as possible.
Chicks born July, 7 2012 So, 8 weeks and a few days old
I cannot have a Roo where I am at, I did get one in a group of pullets last year which I was able to re-home.
This year we had our first broody hen and decided that we would like to have the full experience. We where able to borrow our Roo back from the kind folks who took him and bingo, we now have new chicks.
I know it wasn't the brightest move doing my own straight run chicks, but I did. I do have a backup plan for Roo's, but would rather not go there.
Now I am a wishful thinker and don't want to get my hopes up on the slim chance that they could all be girls, the only Roo I have ever had was the Father in the pics. From what I remember though I had a pretty good idea he was indeed a he by this age, I don't have any of these pegged as a Rooster though at this point.
Anyway we had 5 of our 8 eggs hatch, 3 from the blue egg laying EE mother we focused on and 2 brown eggs from a RIR and a big black chicken we have.
These pics are not the best and I can get better pics up if needed. I guess I kinda missed number 4.
So here they are,

Here are a couple of pics of Parents
This is the father of all of them, the dates on the pics are correct!

This is the EE mother of number's 1 - 2 & 5 .....Number (3) came from a RIR (or close) and number (4) came from a big black chicken with black legs

Thank you for the replies!
I was questioning myself, but glad you guys agree that they look to be pullets. It is crazy that I would be so lucky as to have 100% pullets, my girlfreind is thrilled that all of our little chicks will get to stay.

Thanks for the compliment on the white one. It is funny that she dosn't look anything like either of her parents, but looks just like the broody that hatched them...

Here is a pic of the broody and the chicks at about a week old, for some reason they like to sit on top of mom. They still try it now but she gets a bit irritated.
Not the best picture of her, being right after the brood and all.
