So I've got 3 chicks that are 5 weeks old . I was wondering what gender they are, as we can't keep roosters here
They were all supposed to be pullets, but what do you think? They all have smal-medium yellowish combs with a TINY TINY bit of pink at the base
Sorry for bad picture quality
Holiday, the Buff Orpington
Holiday is a cute buff orpington, she's friendly and doesn't mind being held
She doesn't show much roosterness
Pepper, the Barred Rock (or cuckoo Maran)
Pepper is shy and quiet
The lady at the feed store told us that she could be either a BR or a CM
What worries me about her is that she has small, grey waddles.
But, she does have the darker coloring and she has a dark wash on her feet
Ruby, the Black Australorp
Ruby hates being held and she has a funny squawk whenever we try to pick her up
She has a long tail, is this normal?
thank you so much for your help!
