I was certain I had 2 cockerels & 1 pullet (still 97%
) BUT 1 of the ātwinsā is starting to make me wonder ⦠just wanted to get the collective hives thoughts & maybe anyone who has done a Brahma Ameraucana cross. These 3 are a cross between my Black Ameraucana (Roo) and Blue Brahma⦠I did this for a project in temperament. My Ameraucana Roo is the best⦠and my Brahma is sweet,friendly, great layer of good size eggs. I have no need for any more roosters, and was ready to get rid of both of the Cockerels ā¦. I was always certain they were both male because they hatched looking exactly alike, and due to the way they have feathered out so far (slow with short tails) But the comb on 1 of the twins is still flat and skinny like the all black pullet. Only one of the ātwinsā has started to get raised bumps for his pea comb & itās noticeably wider. Am I just being hopeful one of these twins could possibly be a pullet(itās also much sweeter than the devil getting his pea bumps
)
The photos are the 3 together. Closeups of the one twin Iām positive is a male and the last photo is the twin who now has me guessing⦠They are 3 weeks
