Brahma and Cochin Bantams

I am new to owning chickens and I have recently bought 4 bantam Cochins and 1 Bantam Brahma. Are these good egg layers? Do they lay all year?

I have a Cochin bantam, but I haven't had her very long (about two months). In the time that I've had her, she's been an extremely good layer (for a bantam). She probably lays about 4-5 eggs a week. I don't have any experience with Brahmas.
