Hello there.
I searched through google but with no luck. I got some hatching eggs from a local hobbyist breeder, he sent me pictures of the parent birds, saying they are 'porcelain brahmas'. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
Any ideas?
They are brahmas allright, the chicks are twice the size of the marans and araucana that hatched at the same time and are slower to develop.

They are definitely a work in progress. They're not porcelain, which is millie fleur with the lavender gene, which also dilutes other colors as well.

They're not really blue or splash millie fleur, either. They have solid blue or splash hackles, where millie fleur would be a deep golden buff color with spangles throughout the body, except for the tail and wing coverts, would be black, blue or splash with spangles.

I do think they're trying for blue millie fleur, though. They're just not there yet.

Thanks everybody for all the answers 🙂 guess I'll wait and see what my chicks will look like once fully grown. They are just 2 weeks old now so a long way to go.
The millefleur you mentioned do look similar but not quite the same. Guess I'll contact the breeder to tell me what's the story behind his flock.

Good luck! Let’s us know what he says if you’d like to share.

I've had no clue that there were like official colours for brahmas, I mean makes sense I'm just dumb, anyways so I know these aren't any of the official colours but does anyone know if they're a variety? Only one of their 3 chicks resembles the "gold" hen the other 2 have black and gold wings. I just bought the 3 adults as a trio and wasn't concerned with colours or anything but I kinda want to know.

Those Brahmas are mixed color (not a variety)
