Between a Brahma and Jersey Giants which is a superior meat bird? Jersey giant hens weigh 1/2 pound more than a Brahma hen according to cackle hatchery, But they are said to take a while to develop. I'd also like to ask about the Cornish cross there seems to be answers both ways of them being able to reproduce, Some have said that due to their health that they are unable to produce baby chicks and the other answer is that they can but they produce offspring that do not wield the meat qualities that their parents possess? (most posts support the first statement.
