Ugh. We'll, I'll get started. But how do I treat them with the feathers everywhere?? I haven't checked the bottom of their feet yet. Sorry I'm late responding. Thanks for the reply! They do look like scaly leg mites, and dry skin. Are there any bumblefoot scabs on the bottom of the feet or toes? Scaly leg mites can be treated a number of ways. First you may want to bring them inside and soak their legs in a shallow pan of warm soapy water for about 15 minutes. Then dry the legs and apply either Nustock cream or vaseline to the legs rubbing it up into the scales to smother the mites. Nustock is in the horse aisle at feed stores or available online. It contains sulfur which kills the mites.
