Brahmas

Hi! I've been looking everywhere for some REALLY nice Brahmas, but am having trouble finding anyone who has some! Would prefer Buff Brahmas, but at this point - I'm not being too picky. I would like to purchase hatching eggs, chicks or even adult birds. Located in Southern Illinois & willing to travel. Thanks!!!!!

Did you want a local hatchery because you wanted see what the birds look like in person? If not, you can extend your search beyond local because hatching eggs or chicks are easy to send in the mail. I got my Buff Brahma from ideal hatchery. I don't show or breed chickens so I really don't know if she conforms to breed standards, but she is a pretty hen.

The American Brahma Club has district directors, you might want to check with whoever your state is under to see if they have members who breed buffs near you.
