I’m wondering if anyone has a cover for their chicken coop entrance that cuts down on drafts and weather issues, while allowing the chickens to enter and exit freely?

Yes!! I couldn’t think of a name for it and wasn’t sure if it would protect them from the cold enough, but I think I’ll try it. Thank you!
You're welcome! I don't have this so I don't know if the chickens are able to push through them. They may need to be trained to go through it.Yes!! I couldn’t think of a name for it and wasn’t sure if it would protect them from the cold enough, but I think I’ll try it. Thank you!
It'll cut down any winds, which should keep the 'warmer'.I couldn’t think of a name for it and wasn’t sure if it would protect them from the cold enough, but I think I’ll try it.
Thanks!! I haven’t really looked at the profile details so I will do that, but I’m in South CarolinaIt'll cut down any winds, which should keep the 'warmer'.
You'll have to install it in sections so they learn to go thru.
Would help to see the coop and run for other suggestions.

I am so sorryAlternative to flaps/curtain, you could build a simple wall/baffle to block wind - something like the L-shaped ones on a public restroom w/o a door that blocks wind from blowing straight inside and from visible line of sight inside. Should block the big drafts but remain ventilated and unobstructed to chicken use
i had to Google that lol! Still not sure I understand.Alternative to flaps/curtain, you could build a simple wall/baffle to block wind - something like the L-shaped ones on a public restroom w/o a door that blocks wind from blowing straight inside and from visible line of sight inside. It's simply an "L" shaped wall in front of the doorway, ideally on the side the wind predominantly comes from. Now looking at a pic of your coop, I dunno if it would work so well being up in the air like that. Many people add temporary blocking to the runs during winter months, such as a tarp/sheet plastic on the walls, or a stack of hay bales, pallets, etc. - that may help in your situation to keep heavy drafts from entering the chicken doorI am so sorry

Go easy on me…I’m a nurse so this chicken construction stuff is all new to me![]()
