Brand new farmers

Hi!! My family just moved (2 weeks and 2 days ago) from a new build home on 0.17 acres in "the" school district to over an hour away from everything/one we knew to homestead on a 1940s 4.7 acre mini farm with 3 barns, 3 horse pastures, and 1/2-the-size-of-our-new-build charming farmhouse. We are CRAZY excited about this adventure in self sustaining farming!! We inherited a friend's 33 bird (1 turkey, 3 guineas, 3 roosters, and 26 hens of various breeds) flock and her 3 year old rescued Great Pyrenees flock dog. They all arrived on Sunday and have been laying since day one. 3 eggs on day 1 and 13 today. Why not nust jump right in, right?!?!
