Hi, Im Kimberly. My husband and I are in the process of researching the best way to build our first chicken coop and run. We have read books, watched hundreds of videos, read online reviews and more. Over the next few weeks we will build our coop and run, purchase our chicks, and jump into the crazy world. It only took me two years to talk him into it lol I think he finally just gave in so I’d quit asking 😂

I’ve helped my grandmother care for hens as a child but I’ve never raised any from chicks, so this will be an completely new experience.

Im hoping to connect with many chicken keepers who can give me guidance along the way.

Im excited to be here.
