After 2 years of research, this year I made the move. I have 8 layers that I purchased as 12-14 week olds. I let the ladies run free on my northern Ontario property daily under the protection of my 2 dogs. Although sometimes 1 or 2 are reluctant to return to the run and coop in the evening, I haven’t lost any.

I hope to utilize the breadth of knowledge from this forum to ensure the ladies are well cared for.
