Brand new to Willis, Texas and chickens

Hello. My name is Roxy. My husband, my teenager son and I just moved to Willis, Texas. We want to get a few chickens but I don’t know if chickens are allowed in Willis. I can’t really find much about that online. Can someone please help me with that? What is the best place to get a coop? What is the best place to get chickens from? Thank you.

I use to have a friend who lived in Willis, Dr. William Wise, we showed chickens together way back in the day. So, yes chickens are allowed in Willis, or at least back then they were allowed. Check with the chambers of commerce, they can probably tell you what you need to know!

Everyone! Thank you for making me feel welcomed!!! Thank you!i will continue my search to find out if chickens are allowed in Willis. I sure hope so!!! One of the biggest reasons why we mover here was to be in the”country” and have chickens.
