I have a small flock, since Lmphoid Leukosis killed most of them. I am trying to find the best brand of crumbles for my birds. Cost is a definate factor - need the most bang for my buck. I am feeding a local brand from my feed store but I don't care for it. It is supposed to be crumbles but it is ground very very fine. I tried a bag of Purina but could not tell any differance in the eggs or chickens. I am thinking of trying Nutrena if I can find it any where close and if it is not too expensive. Something is lacking in my chickens feed because they have dirty bums. I thought this was normal but have found out it is not. I do put Rooster Booster in their water every day. Can you share what feed you are using and why you like it please. Thanks ! (they free range 1/2 day)

We use Dumor and have never had an issue with it. It is fairly inexpensive, and the chickens love it. I would recommend trying it. You can get it at TSC. Also, it comes in real crumbles, or pellets.
