I'm starting conversion of a horse stall to a chicken coop in my 1890s barn. I have a dirt floor in that part of the barn. I'm planning to bury cinder blocks or bricks around the perimeter. Is 8" deep enough? Do I need more? Thanks! I'll post progress pics.
